This is Keldholme Cottages 2. It's in a little hamlet called Keldholme, just outside Kirkbymoorside. You're on the edge of the North York Moors here.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a stone-built terraced cottage, so it's got solid walls and a proper feel to it. The garden is shared with the cottage next door, but you get your own private patio area with a table and chairs. There's a field right next to the garden with horses in it.
Inside, the kitchen is country-style and has the dining table in it. The living room is at the front with a wood burner. The sofas are deep, which is good. Stairs in these places are usually a bit steep, so just be aware of that.
You can bring two dogs. There are loads of footpaths right from the door for walks. The local shop and pub are about half a mile up the road in Kirkbymoorside. It's a proper market town with butchers and cafés.
You're well placed for getting out. Helmsley is about ten minutes drive. Pickering is about twenty. The coast at Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay is about forty minutes. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway runs from Pickering to Whitby if you fancy that. York is under forty minutes away if you want a city day.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. The garden is enclosed. There's a BBQ.
