Popleys
Popleys is in Helmsley. It's a mid-terraced cottage, built in 2020, so everything is still quite new. It's a five minute walk to the town centre.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place. The living space is all open plan on the ground floor. The garden at the back is enclosed and gets the sun.
You can park two cars on the drive. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding is all included. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. No pets, sorry.
Helmsley has everything you need. Shops, pubs, tea shops, a market. You can walk to the Helmsley Castle ruins and the Rievaulx Abbey ruins. There's an open-air swimming pool in town for the summer.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Good walking and cycling from the door. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam trains go from Pickering up to Whitby.
York is less than an hour's drive if you fancy a city day. For the coast, Whitby, Scarborough, and Robin Hood's Bay are all within about 45 minutes.
