Ristbrow Farm is in Hawnby. It's a big old place on the Hawnby Estate. It sleeps twelve.
It's a Grade II listed 18th century farmhouse, so it's got stone floors, beams, and steep stairs. There are meat hooks in the kitchen ceiling from when it was a working farm. The kitchen is huge. It's got an Aga and a big table in it. There's a main living room with a wood burner and a separate snug with another TV.
Six bedrooms. Three have kingsize beds, one of those has its own bathroom. The other three are twins. Four bathrooms in total.
The garden is enclosed. There are automatic gates at the top of the drive. You can park on site. There's a hot tub in the orchard.
The nearest pub is in Hawnby village, about a mile away. There are others within five miles.
You're right in the North York Moors. For walks and days out, the North York Moors National Park site is useful. Helmsley is about a twenty minute drive. You've got the walled garden, the castle, and lots of shops and cafes there. The coast, like Whitby or Robin Hood's Bay, is about half an hour away.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. You can bring up to three dogs. It's got a 5 Star rating.
