Borough Beck Cottage is in Helmsley. It's semi-detached, right in the town centre. The cottage is named after the little stream that runs past the front. You can hear it from the front bedrooms.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, just so you know.
You come in through the living room. There's a wood burner in a big fireplace. It's a good room to sit in. The kitchen is through there, and it leads out to the garden. The garden gets the sun. It's on two levels with a couple of patio areas. One has an electric awning for shade.
You're right in the middle of Helmsley. There are shops, pubs, cafes and the Helmsley Brewery all within a few minutes' walk. You don't really need the car if you don't want to use it.
For getting out, you're on the edge of the North York Moors. There are walks straight from the door. Rievaulx Abbey is about two miles away, it's a good walk or a very short drive. The market towns of Malton and Pickering are about a twenty minute drive. York is about forty minutes by car.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The front entrance has step-free access.
