Angel Cottage is in Oswaldkirk, near Helmsley. It's a detached, stone-built bungalow that's about two hundred years old. It sleeps five in two bedrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which reflects the accessible facilities.
You walk straight into the kitchen, which has the original stone floor. That floor runs through most of the place. There's a table with benches. The main room is big, with a high ceiling and beams. The windows are large and run along one wall. There's a wood burner and two reclining sofas. The TV is a decent size.
There are two bedrooms. The main one has a standard double bed and an electric single bed. Next to it is a twin room. The bathroom is a wet room with grab rails and a seat in the shower. It's all on the ground floor.
Outside, there's a garage you can use for bikes. The garden at the back is lawned, unfenced, and has seating with a nice view over the fields.
Helmsley is about three miles away. It's a proper market town with lots of shops and places to eat. The castle and the walled garden are worth a visit. The National Trust's Duncombe Park is there, which is where the Birds of Prey centre is.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Good for walking and cycling. The coast, places like Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay, is about a half hour drive. York is under 40 minutes away by car.
For facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. The wet room and electric bed are the main accessible features. No pets, sorry.
