The Nest
The Nest is on Pottergate, in Helmsley. It's an apartment, over two floors. The front door opens onto the kitchen, which has a breakfast bar. Upstairs is the living room, bedroom, and bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one shower room. It's decorated nicely, comfortable.
From the living room, there's a door out to a small raised seating area. It gets the sun in the evening. You can have a drink out there.
You're right in the middle of town. Everything is a two-minute walk: shops, a couple of supermarkets, the castle, and plenty of places to eat. The Black Swan is a local pub.
For walks, you can start from your door. The Cleveland Way footpath goes right past. Rievaulx Abbey is about three miles away, a nice walk. Duncombe Park is just over the river.
You're on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Driving, you can be up on the moors in ten minutes. The market in Malton is good, about twenty minutes by car. York is about forty minutes.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a Smart TV, a washing machine, and parking for one car behind the building. Bedding and towels are included.
