Right, this is The Nab. It's a glamping lodge on our farm just outside Carlton, near Helmsley. The views are good. You look straight out at the moors.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms, but one's a bit unusual. It's a king-size bed on a mezzanine. You get up to it by a steep paddle staircase. Mind your head, the ceiling is low up there. Kids seem to like it. The main bedroom is on the ground floor and has a double bed. There's one bathroom with a shower.
The living area and kitchen are all one space. It's got what you need: a proper kitchen, a Smart TV. The garden is enclosed. There's a picnic bench and a firepit you can use for barbecues.
It's a working farm, so you'll see horses and the usual farm activity. Helmsley is about six miles away for pubs, shops, and the brewery. You'll need a car.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Good walking and cycling from the door. Rievaulx Abbey is close. Malton, Pickering, and Thirsk are all within half an hour. For a day at the coast, Whitby or Scarborough are about forty minutes drive. York is under an hour.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, parking, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. The rating is 4 Star, which covers the glamping set-up.
