Langford Villa

Langford Villa is a ground floor flat in Filey. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is the location. You're about a hundred yards from the cliff top. You can hear the sea if it's quiet. The back looks onto Glen Gardens, so it's peaceful. The owner sometimes lives in the flat above, but you wouldn't really know.

It's an old building, from about 1830. The stairs aren't an issue because you're on the ground floor. The place has got decent thick walls.

You're five minutes' walk from the town centre. There's a pub about a hundred yards away. The White Lodge Hotel is next door but one, and they're happy for guests to go in for meals or breakfast.

Filey beach is long and sandy, about a 500 yard walk. For walking, the Cleveland Way runs along the clifftop here. You can walk to Scarborough on it if you're feeling energetic. Filey Brigg is good for a shorter stroll.

Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve is about a ten minute drive. You can see puffins there in season. Scarborough and Bridlington are each about twenty minutes by car. Whitby is around forty minutes. York is less than an hour away if you fancy a day trip to the city.

Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's a patio garden out the back. No pets, sorry.
