Tigh Na Mara
Tigh Na Mara is in Hunmanby Gap. It's a detached house right on Filey Bay. You're looking out at the beach and the sea from the front.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and the main bathroom are downstairs. One double bedroom with its own ensuite is upstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs to the first floor are glass panelled and a bit steep, just so you know.
You can bring two dogs. There's an enclosed garden at the back for them.
The living room has those sea views. There's a sun room off the kitchen with more seating. The sofas are arranged to face the window. One of them is a sofa bed, which is where the extra two people would sleep.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and a small, private balcony you can step out onto. The door to the ensuite is quite low.
The beach is just down the hill. There's a dog-friendly cafe there too. Filey is a few minutes drive south, Scarborough is about ten minutes north. Both have the usual seaside things.
If you like walking, the National Trails site is good for routes. For birdwatching, RSPB Bempton Cliffs is very close. The Welcome to Yorkshire site has general information about the area.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a cot. Bedding and towels are included. It's all electric.
