The Sandpiper is a terraced house in Filey. It's about five minutes walk from the beach. You get your own parking space, which is a plus round here.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and a toilet downstairs. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and comfortable, but not luxurious.
The back patio is enclosed. It's a suntrap if the weather's good. There's a secure side gate for storing bikes or a surfboard.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs. The sofas face an electric fire. The patio doors let in a lot of light. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Upstairs, the bedrooms have wooden floors. One has bunk beds, one has a king-size bed, and the other has a super-king that can be made into two singles if you ask beforehand. There's a proper bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.
Filey itself is a proper old-fashioned seaside town. The beach is long and sandy. The Brigg is good for rockpooling. There are a few pubs and places to eat.
Scarborough is about fifteen minutes drive south if you want more shops or the arcades. The North York Moors are about half an hour inland for walking. For a big day out, you can drive to Yorkshire Coast spots like Robin Hood's Bay in under 40 minutes.
Everything like bedding, towels, and electricity is included. You can bring up to two dogs. The WiFi usually works fine.
