The Stables
The Stables is one of three cottages here on our farm in Langtoft. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. It's got a 5 Star rating, which mainly means it's been checked for good access. The doorways are wide, the wet room has grab rails, and you can get right up to the cooker in the wheelchair.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and both have their own bathroom. The main room is open plan. There's a wood burner for colder nights. Outside, there's an enclosed patio with a hot tub. The garden is yours to use.
We live on site, so if you need anything we're around. You can bring up to two dogs.
The village is quiet. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in Driffield. It's a proper market town with butchers and a co-op. For a bigger shop, Beverley or Bridlington are about twenty minutes by car.
The coast is about half an hour's drive. Bridlington has a long beach and a harbour. Filey is a bit quieter. If you like walking, the Yorkshire Wolds start right here. There are footpaths from the door.
Further out, you've got Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House within half an hour. York is about an hour's drive if you fancy a day out there.
What's here: towels and bedding are included, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi. Parking is right outside.
