The Dairy is one of three barns here on the farm in Langtoft. It's all on one floor. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It sleeps four.
It's a five star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's been done up to feel modern but it's still a old farm building. The kitchen and living area are open plan. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings.
Outside, there's an enclosed patio area that gets the sun. It has a private hot tub. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
The owners live on site, so if you need anything or have a question, someone is usually around.
There's parking right outside the property. The facilities list is pretty comprehensive: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included.
Langtoft is a small village. The nearest shop and pub are about three miles away in Driffield. Driffield is a proper market town with butchers, bakers, that sort of thing.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds. There are good walks straight from the door. The coast is about a half hour drive. Bridlington, Filey, and Hornsea are the main seaside towns there.
For a day out, Beverley is lovely and about 25 minutes away. York is under an hour's drive. The National Trust has Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall nearby. The Yorkshire Wolds website has information on walking routes.
