St Robert's Chantry

St Robert's Chantry is in Robin Hood's Bay, down in the old part of the village. It's a one-up-one-down cottage for two people. It's a Grade II listed building, so the ceilings are low and the stairs are a tight spiral. It's not suitable if you have mobility issues.

The place has a 2 Star rating. It's clean and it works, but it's basic. There's an open fire in the living room. The kitchen area is in the same room. Upstairs is a double bedroom and a wet room with a shower. The top floor is a twin room with big cushions to sit on, and dormer windows where you can watch the world go by.

You're right in the middle of it all. The beach is a few minutes' walk down the hill. The village has pubs, cafes, and a chip shop. There's a National Trust visitor centre here too.

For walks, you're on the Cleveland Way and the Coast to Coast path. Whitby is about six miles north for boat trips or the abbey. Scarborough is about fifteen miles south.

Facilities: there's a TV, the open fire, and a shower. No pets. Parking is in the public car park at the top of the bank.
