Bramblewick Cottage
Bramblewick Cottage is near Whitby, maybe a mile from the town centre. It's one of a row of stone cottages on the hill. You get a good view of the old viaduct from the front.
It sleeps six, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place so it's got everything you need and it's kept in good order. The cottage is south facing which is nice, and there's a small garden out the back. One of the bedrooms has a balcony.
You're right next to the Cinder Track. It's an old railway line you can walk or cycle on. You can follow it all the way into Whitby without going on the road, which takes about 20 minutes. Or you can go the other way towards Robin Hood's Bay.
Whitby itself has the usual seaside stuff. The beach, fish and chips, shops, and the Abbey up the famous steps. Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes are close by and worth a visit for a half day out. Scarborough is about a 40 minute drive if you fancy it.
For facilities, you've got parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. We don't allow pets. There's a local pub a short walk away.
