This is Cliff View. It's in Whitby, on Cliff Street. The name is accurate: you get a very good view of the harbour and the sea from here.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, all doubles. Two bathrooms. One has a bath and a separate shower, the other is just a shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's been done up to a high standard. It's comfortable.
The cottage was originally built in the 1920s but it's been completely rebuilt inside. It's modern. The kitchen has a breakfast bar. The living area is open plan. There's a patio at the front with glass fencing so the view isn't blocked. The stairs are fine.
You're about a ten minute walk from the beach and the town centre. Whitby has all the usual seaside things: fish and chip shops, pubs, independent shops. The beach stretches all the way to Sandsend if you want a long walk.
For days out, the North York Moors National Park is right on the doorstep. The steam railway from Whitby to Pickering is good. Robin Hood's Bay is a short drive south, it's a nice village to wander around.
You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a stairgate. Bedding and towels are included. There's no private parking, but you can unload outside. There is public parking nearby.
