Happy Days is a terraced cottage in Whitby. It was built in 1780 and was part of a ropery. There's parking for two cars on site, which is useful.
It sleeps four in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and functional. The ground floor was redone a few years ago, so the kitchen and bathroom are new.
You're right in town. The shops, the pub, and places to eat are about a minute's walk away. The beach is a five minute walk.
The cottage has a small courtyard garden. It gets the sun in the afternoon. Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
Whitby's a good base. You can walk up to the abbey, go on a boat trip, or just wander around the harbour. The North York Moors start just outside town. The North York Moors National Park website has walking routes. Robin Hood's Bay is about a fifteen minute drive south. Staithes is about twenty minutes north.
If you want to go further, places like Scarborough or Pickering are within half an hour. The National Trust has a few properties around here too, like Nunnington Hall.
