Happy Days is a terraced cottage in Whitby. It's on a side street, so it's quiet, but you can walk to the harbour and the shops in about five minutes. The cottage itself is old, from about 1780. It was part of a ropery originally.
It sleeps four people. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. The bathroom and the kitchen downstairs were all done up a couple of years ago. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and has what you need. The stairs are steep, like most old cottages.
Outside, there's a small courtyard garden and private parking for two cars. That's quite useful in Whitby.
You're about a quarter of a mile from the beach. There's a shop and a pub about 50 yards away. The pub does food.
For things to do, you're right in the middle of it. Walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey for the view, or just wander around the harbour. The North York Moors National Park starts just outside town. Robin Hood's Bay is about a fifteen minute drive, Staithes is about twenty minutes. The steam train from Whitby into the moors is good for a trip.
Facilities are things like a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
