It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One bedroom is on the ground floor with its own shower. The other three are upstairs. Two have sea views. The main bedroom has a dressing area and an en-suite bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.
The kitchen is in the middle of the house. It's well equipped and has a pantry. Off the kitchen is a sun room with sofas, which leads into the garden. There's a separate living room with a TV and a smaller study at the front with a telescope for looking at the boats.
Whitby town and the harbour are about a fifteen minute walk. You know what it's like, the 199 steps up to the Abbey and all the little shops. The beach is sandy and long, it goes all the way to Sandsend.
If you want to go further, Robin Hood's Bay is about a fifteen minute drive. The North York Moors are right there too. For a full day out, you can get to Scarborough or Pickering in under half an hour.
