George's View

George's View is a first-floor duplex apartment in the middle of Whitby. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating.

The main thing is the view. You look down past the old railway station to the harbour. The Endeavour replica is usually moored there. It's a good spot to watch the world go by.

It's on the first floor, so there are stairs to get up to it. Once you're in, everything is on one level. There's a parking space right outside the building, which is a genuine advantage in Whitby, especially in summer.

The place is furnished to a good standard. There are smart TVs and USB sockets. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a welcome pack for you.

You are right in the middle of everything. The harbour, shops, pubs, and restaurants are literally a few steps away. The beach is about half a mile. The famous 199 steps up to Whitby Abbey are close by. The North York Moors National Park starts just outside the town.

If you want to explore, Scarborough is about 40 minutes down the coast. York is around an hour's drive. The steam railway on the North York Moors, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, is about a 20-minute drive to Pickering.

The apartment is part of a pair with Hattie's House next door, so you can book both together for a larger group. No pets, sorry.
