One Over Eight
One Over Eight is an apartment on Church Street in Whitby. It's in a small courtyard. The place is Grade II listed, so it feels old but it's been done up inside. It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
The main room is open plan, with the kitchen and living area together. The stairs go up to the bedroom, which has a high ceiling and a freestanding bath in the room. There's a separate walk-in shower as well. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable.
You're right in the middle of things. The harbour, the shops, and the 199 steps up to the Abbey are all on your doorstep. There are plenty of places to eat, including a few good fish and chip shops. The nearest shop and pub are about 50 yards away.
For walking, you can go along the beach towards Sandsend, or up on the cliffs. The North York Moors National Park starts just outside town. Robin Hood's Bay is about a ten minute drive down the coast. Staithes and Runswick Bay are within half an hour.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a small patio area outside. No pets.
