Caedmon's Dream
Caedmon's Dream is on Church Street in Whitby. It's right in the middle of town, so you can walk to everything.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The bedrooms are on different floors, which gives people a bit of space. The top bedroom looks out over the rooftops towards the Abbey. You can see it from the window.
The stairs are steep, like most old cottages here. The fireplace is brick. There's a small yard out the back that's just for you. It's quiet considering you're in the centre.
You're about 20 yards from a pub and a shop. The shop is handy for basics. There are restaurants and cafes all around. Whitby's good for fish, obviously.
The beach and the harbour are a five minute walk. To get to the Abbey, you go up the 199 steps. They start at the end of the street. It's a proper climb.
You can bring two dogs. A lot of the pubs and cafes here let dogs in. There's a path called the Cinder Track, which is good for walks. The North York Moors National Park is just inland if you want to drive out.
It has a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's on-street parking nearby with a permit we provide.
