Caedmon's Dream is in Whitby town centre. You won't need your car for most things. The shop, pubs and restaurants are right outside. The harbour's a five-minute walk.
It's a three-storey cottage for six people, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. The bedrooms are on different floors, which gives everyone a bit of space. The view from the top bedroom looks over the rooftops to Whitby Abbey.
The cottage is old, so the stairs are steep. There's an open plan living area downstairs and a small, quiet yard out the back.
You can bring two dogs. There's a dog bakery round the corner. Most pubs and cafes here are fine with pets. For walks, you can pick up the Cinder Track or the Cleveland Way easily. The nearest beach is about a mile.
Everything in Whitby is on the doorstep. The 199 steps up to the Abbey are close by. The Captain Cook Memorial Museum is a short walk too. For a day out, the North York Moors are about a 20-minute drive.
The cottage has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's no dedicated parking, but there are public car parks nearby.
