The Anchorage is in Kettleness, a small place on the cliffs near Whitby. It's got sea views from the front and a garden at the back.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. There are two staircases. One from the kitchen goes up to a twin room, and the main stairs go to the others. The stairs are a bit steep in places, but they're fine if you take your time. One twin bedroom is on the second floor, under the eaves. It's got a low ceiling in parts and a small TV area with beanbags.
The living room is down three steps from the kitchen. It's got a wood burner. The kitchen is modern and has a table with a corner bench.
You can walk to Runswick Bay in about 20 minutes. Whitby is about six miles away for the shops, the abbey, and the harbour. The Cleveland Way path is right there if you want to walk along the coast.
The area is part of the North York Moors. Because it's rural, the phone signal and wifi can be patchy sometimes.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and bedding is included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a shower over the bath.
