One Beckside Cottage
One Beckside Cottage is in Staithes. It's a fisherman's cottage from the 1820s, right in the middle of the village.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been renovated to a good standard. It's on three floors, which is fairly common here. The stairs are steep, like most old cottages.
There's a small shop about 75 yards away. The nearest pub and restaurant are about 50 yards. The beach is a couple of hundred yards' walk.
For a bigger town, Whitby is about a 15 minute drive. They've got the Abbey and the harbour. The North York Moors National Park starts just behind the village. The Cleveland Way footpath runs along the coast here.
Other places along the coast like Runswick Bay, Sandsend, and Robin Hood's Bay are all within a 20-30 minute drive.
The cottage has a woodburning stove, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a stairgate if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed. There's a small enclosed patio area out the back.
