The Little Stone Cottage
The Little Stone Cottage is in Loftus. It's a proper old place, over a hundred years, and it's Grade II listed. That means it's got low beams and stone walls, so watch your head in the bedroom doorways.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept.
The pub is about 50 yards away, which is handy. The shop is a similar walk. You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The Cleveland Way is about a mile and a half from the door for walking.
Saltburn beach is five and a half miles. It's got that big pier and the cliff lift. Whitby is about twelve miles, so you can be there in half an hour. The Heritage Coast is all along there, with the cliffs and beaches.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a TV and Wifi. No pets, I'm afraid.
