The Little Stone Cottage
The Little Stone Cottage is in Loftus, up near the top end of North Yorkshire. It's a proper old stone cottage, so the walls are thick and the ceilings in some rooms are low. You might need to duck a bit.
It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. The stairs are typical for a place this age, so they're a bit steep and narrow.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The Cleveland Way path is about a mile and a half away for walking. The coast is close. Saltburn's beach with its pier is about five miles. Whitby is twelve miles away if you want fish and chips or to look at the abbey.
The pub is just down the road, maybe fifty yards. There's a shop about two hundred yards away.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, which is good for cooler evenings. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. The electricity is included in the price. No pets, sorry.
