The Fox House

The Fox House is in Easington. It's a village near the edge of the North York Moors. I think it's best for walkers, or if you're looking for a quiet spot by the coast.

It's a three bedroom house that sleeps six. It has a 4 Star rating. Everything works, it's clean, and you can make yourself at home. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The garden is fully enclosed at the back, which is good if you've brought dogs or kids. You can park on the drive at the front.

Inside, the kitchen and dining room are open plan. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. The living room has double doors that open to the garden. There's patio furniture and a barbecue out there.

There's a village pub about a five minute walk away. They do food. The nearest proper shop is a bit further out in Loftus, about ten minutes by car.

The coast is close. Staithes is a ten minute drive. It's an old fishing village, quite steep in parts. Saltburn has a pier and a surfing beach. Runswick Bay is lovely for a walk. Whitby is about half an hour away if you want more of a day out.

For walking, you're right on the doorstep of the moors. The Cleveland Way National Trail is nearby.

Facilities wise: all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. WiFi and TV are there. Pets are welcome.
