Tinakori
Tinakori is a fisherman's cottage in Staithes, right in the middle of the village. It's one of a row. You're about a five minute walk from the harbour and the beach, down the cobbled streets. It sits in the North York Moors National Park.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms, but two of them are small, so it's really two doubles and a twin. One bathroom with a shower. Small open plan living space downstairs. We get people staying with one dog.
There's a pub and a little shop around the corner. We've left books, games and a TV. There's a woodburner for the evenings and a washing machine if you need it. Bedding is included and we can put a cot in if you're bringing a baby.
Staithes itself is good for walking the coastal path. You can drive to Runswick Bay or Sandsend for longer sandy beaches. Whitby is about a twenty minute drive along the coast. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway is a good day out if you like steam trains.
