Seascape is a terraced cottage in Skinningrove, North Yorkshire. It's a working village, quiet and a bit tucked away. You can see the sea from the front windows.
It's modern inside, renovated a few years ago. Two bedrooms upstairs, sleeps four, one bathroom. It's clean and has everything you'd need for a week.
The beach is about 50 yards away. It's not a big sandy beach, more a rocky bay, but it's empty most of the time. Good for throwing stones in the sea. There's a pub and a fish and chip shop in the village too.
If you want a proper sandy beach, Saltburn is about ten minutes by car. They've got a Victorian pier and surf hire. Staithes is a similar distance the other way. It's a pretty fishing village, lots of little lanes to wander down.
Whitby is a 30 minute drive. Abbey, fish and chips, the usual Whitby things. For walking, you're right on the Cleveland Way path. One way goes along the cliffs, the other goes inland into the North York Moors.
Practical things: it says 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, an enclosed patio garden out the back. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
