Cremona Cottage
Cremona Cottage is in Skinningrove. It's a terraced house right on the village street. You get the front door straight onto the pavement, so it's easy to just walk out.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. One of those bathrooms is on the ground floor, which is handy.
You can bring one dog. The beach just down the hill, Cattersty Sands, allows dogs all year. It's a big sandy beach and you can walk to it in about fifteen minutes.
The village is quiet. There's a local shop that's also the post office, and a café that does meals. For more choice, Saltburn is a ten minute drive. It's got a proper pier, places to eat, and it's popular with surfers.
You're on the Cleveland Way path here. It runs past the top of the village. You can walk along the cliff tops south towards Saltburn or north towards Staithes. Staithes is a twenty minute drive. It's a proper old fishing village tucked in a gorge. Runswick Bay is another ten minutes on from there.
Whitby is about half an hour by car. You can park and spend the day there, see the abbey, walk around the harbour. The North York Moors are right behind you too, if you want to go inland.
Facilities: It's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside the front.
