Cremona Cottage
Cremona Cottage is in Skinningrove, a village on the North Yorkshire coast. It's a small place, mostly locals, and it's quiet. You've got a café and a post office that does basics. The cottage is one of a row, right on the street.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are upstairs and each has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well-equipped and clean. The stairs are steep, typical for a cottage.
The beach is about a mile away. It's Cattersty Sands, a big sandy beach, and dogs are allowed on it all year. The Cleveland Way path runs right past the cottage, so you can walk along the cliffs from the door. One way takes you towards Saltburn, the other towards Staithes.
Saltburn is about a ten-minute drive. It's got a pier, a surf beach, and some places to eat. Staithes is in the other direction, maybe fifteen minutes by car. It's a proper old fishing village, all huddled around the harbour. Runswick Bay is another nice beach, a bit further along.
Whitby is half an hour away. That's where you'll find the abbey, more shops, and boat trips. The North York Moors National Park starts inland from here. There are loads of walks. You can drive up onto the moors in twenty minutes.
For facilities, you've got the basics: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the street outside. You can bring up to two dogs.
