Listers Lodge
Listers Lodge is in Brotton, on the high street. It's a semi-detached place. It sleeps eight, but that's across two bedrooms and one bathroom, so you should know it's bunk beds and sofa beds making up the numbers. It's a 3 Star place, which is about right. It's clean and it works, but it's not fancy.
The garden is on two levels. It's enclosed, so it's fine for dogs. You can have a barbecue out there.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors here. The Cleveland Way goes through, so it's good for walkers. Saltburn-by-the-Sea is two miles down the road. It's a proper Victorian seaside town with a pier, a cliff lift, and a long sandy beach. There's a golf course about a ten-minute walk from the cottage.
Whitby is about seventeen miles up the coast. You've got the abbey, the cobbled streets, and boat trips from the harbour. North York Moors National Park is right on your doorstep for driving or walking. The steam railway through the moors is about a half hour drive inland.
In the house you've got a woodburning stove, a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. We allow up to two dogs.
The shop is practically next door, about thirty yards. The pub is a few minutes' walk.
