Fisherman's Cottage is in Loftus, up in the hills from the coast. It’s a terrace cottage, tucked away just off the high street. There's a little stream that goes past the front door.
It was completely done up a couple of years ago, so everything's fresh and works well. It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms upstairs, one with a king bed, one double, and one with bunk beds. There’s one bathroom, with a shower over the bath.
Downstairs, there's a small living room. The kitchen and dining area are on a lower level, a couple of steps down. The kitchen is modern and has everything you'd need. A door leads out to a small yard with a couple of chairs.
Your parking space is about 50 yards down the road. It's a marked bay just for the cottage.
The village shop and a couple of pubs are a two-minute walk. The closest beach is at Skinningrove, about a mile away. It’s a quiet spot, good for fossil hunting. You can walk there along a path in about half an hour.
You’re well placed for the coast. Runswick Bay and Staithes are lovely, Saltburn has the surf, and Whitby is about a 20-minute drive. The Cleveland Way path runs along the cliffs here. For a good walk inland, Roseberry Topping is nearby and the views from the top are worth it.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair in for you if needed. Pets are welcome.
