Field House is on the edge of Hinderwell. It’s a semi-detached house, just off the main street. You get a small garden at the front and a patio yard out the back.
The house sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom upstairs. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The second bedroom is a bit small, fine for kids but a squeeze for two adults. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
Downstairs is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, and a living area with a sofa and chairs. It’s all straightforward.
Hinderwell has a couple of local pubs and a fish and chip shop. There's a good café in the old school house. A petrol station and a butcher’s too.
Runswick Bay beach is less than a mile away. You can drive it in a few minutes or walk it in about twenty. It’s a nice sandy beach with cobbled streets up in the village.
Staithes is about ten minutes north by car. Whitby is fifteen minutes south. Both are worth a visit. The Cleveland Way runs along the cliff tops if you’re walking.
For a wider beach, Sandsend is just south of Whitby. Saltburn, further north, has a long beach and a pier.
Facilities are what you’d expect. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. The garden is enclosed. Parking is on the street outside.
