Felicity Cottage is ours. It’s in Staithes, in the old part of the village. It's a semi-detached cottage from the early 1800s.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 3 Star place, so everything works and it’s clean. Don't expect anything fancy. The ceilings are beamed, quite low in the kitchen and living room, so you'll want to watch your head.
The cottage is on the high side of the village. To get to the harbour and the beach, you go down the cobbled street at the end of the terrace. It's peaceful, but you're only about 150 yards from the pub and the little shop. The pub does food.
From the house, you can walk straight onto the Cleveland Way. It’s good for coastal walks. The beach is shingle, nice for crabbing with kids. Whitby is about 15 minutes drive one way, Saltburn about 20 the other.
Inside, there's a washing machine. We include the bedding and towels. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site, for one car.
You can have up to two dogs. They’re £20 each for your stay.
