Long Row is in Port Mulgrave. It's a tiny place, basically just a few houses on the cliff top. The cottage looks straight out over the sea.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star. It's comfortable and clean, but it's not a luxury hotel. You get what you need.
The garden is paved, with a table and chairs. It catches the sun. There's a coal fire inside for cooler evenings, and we leave you a bit of coal to get started.
The facilities are all there: WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can park right outside.
To get down to the little harbour and beach, you walk along the cliff top path. It's a proper coastal path, so wear decent shoes. It's not a long walk, but it's a cliff, so be careful. The beach is rocky, not sandy.
The nearest shop and pub are in Hinderwell, about a mile away. They're both fine. The pub does food.
Staithes is a couple of minutes down the road by car. It's a good place for a wander and has a few places to eat. Whitby is about fifteen minutes in the other direction. For a longer walk, you're right on the Cleveland Way. The North York Moors are inland, maybe a twenty minute drive.
