Stoney Cottage is in Loftus, on the edge of the North York Moors. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower cubicle and a separate bath.
It's an old stone cottage from the 1800s. It used to be the village lemonade factory. There's a stream that runs right past the front door.
The living room has a high ceiling with beams and an electric wood burner. There's a TV inside a wooden cabinet. The kitchen has a dining table with a bench and an island. It's got all the usual things: dishwasher, washing machine.
Bedding and towels are included. Both bedrooms have TVs.
You can park two cars. The spaces are just over the road, on the other side of the stream. It's about a thirty second walk.
Loftus itself is small. There's a shop, a bakery, a couple of pubs and takeaways. For a beach, Cattersy Sands in Skinningrove is about a half hour walk away. It's a good, quiet sandy beach.
You're well placed for the coast. Staithes, with its harbour, is about five miles. Saltburn-by-the-Sea has a pier. Runswick Bay is good for paddleboarding. Whitby, with the abbey and the old town, is a short drive.
You're right by the Cleveland Way if you want to walk. The North York Moors are on your doorstep too, for heather and open country.
