Frank's View is an apartment on the first floor of the old Zetland Hotel building in Saltburn. It's the big Victorian one you can't miss. The view from the front is the main thing. It looks right across the bay and the sea.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's comfortable and clean, not modernised.
You get a private parking space, which is useful. The building has a grand staircase. The apartment has a balcony that goes along the front. It's a good spot to sit.
The town is right there. There's a pub about 50 yards away. The beach is a few minutes' walk. They've got the cliff lift, which is the old water-balanced one, to take you down to the pier and promenade. The Cleveland Way path runs along the cliff top here.
You're on the edge of the North York Moors. For a day out, Whitby is about a 40 minute drive. The steam train runs from there into the moors. Places like Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes are along the coast in that direction.
For facilities, there's a dishwasher, a TV, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets, sorry.
