The Tipsy Bee is on Westgate, which is the main street in Guisborough. It's a two-bedroom end-terrace cottage. We finished renovating it in 2023. It sleeps four. One bathroom, which is a walk-in shower on the ground floor.
The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner. The kitchen is compact, but it has what you need, plus a fold-out table. There's a utility room with the washing machine. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: one kingsize, one double.
You're right in the town. The pub is about 80 yards away. There are shops, cafes, and a few independent bars within a minute's walk. The market is on Thursdays and Saturdays. Guisborough Priory ruins are less than ten minutes walk.
For outdoors, you've got Guisborough Forest on the edge of town, with walking trails and a cafe. Roseberry Topping and Captain Cook's Monument are a short drive away, maybe 15 minutes. The coast is about six miles. Saltburn has the pier and a cliff lift. From there, the Cleveland Way runs along the cliffs to places like Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay.
In terms of facilities, it's all there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels. Parking is on the street outside the cottage.
