Transporter Lodge is one of the lodges at Roseberry View, near Great Ayton. It was built in 2019. There are ten lodges in total, set around a private lake. You get views of the Cleveland Hills, Roseberry Topping and Captain Cook's Monument from your patio.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star lodge, which means it's well finished and has everything you'd expect. It's open plan inside, with a wood burner. There's a hot tub on your private deck.
The site has a few shared things. There's a clear-fronted sauna you can book, which looks out at Roseberry Topping. There's a small boating lake, a kids' play area, and a fenced area for dogs. A public footpath goes about a mile across fields into Great Ayton village. The village has shops, pubs, and a famous ice cream and pie shop.
You're well placed for getting out. The North York Moors National Park is right on the doorstep. For a walk, Roseberry Topping is the obvious local peak. Captain Cook's Monument is nearby too. The coast at Saltburn is about 13 miles. Middlesbrough is a short drive north if you need city things.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. There's parking right outside the lodge. No pets, sorry.
