Henry Bolckow Lodge is near Great Ayton, in North Yorkshire. It's a lodge, fairly new so everything works as it should. You get views over the grounds and a private lake. The main thing you're looking at is Roseberry Topping.
It sleeps eight. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, so you're not queuing. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well kitted out and finished to a good standard.
The lodge has a hot tub on the deck, and a wood burner inside for colder nights. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a beer pump in the kitchen too. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, there's a small boating lake on-site. The kids' play area is basic. There's a communal barbecue space if you want it. You can walk to Great Ayton village in about twenty minutes via the footpath, or drive it in two. They've got shops and pubs there. The ice cream shop is good.
Location wise, you're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Roseberry Topping is the obvious walk from your door. Captain Cook's Monument is nearby too. The coast, like Whitby, is about a forty minute drive. Middlesbrough is about twenty minutes north if you need a big supermarket or the cinema.
