The lodge is called Roseberry Topping and it's near Great Broughton. It's one of a pair set back from the road. You get your own bit of patio with a hot tub. The view is just fields and hills. Good for stargazing.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, which is handy. The main bedroom has its own shower. It's got a four star rating. The space is generous, with big wardrobes.
The living area is open plan with the kitchen. There's a dining table, a TV, and sliding doors to the patio. It's all clean and works fine. There's a utility cupboard with a washing machine, and a boot cupboard by the front door.
You're in a village. There are three pubs you can walk to.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the North York Moors. The Wainstones and Roseberry Topping are both close by. The Cleveland Way passes nearby. If you drive for about half an hour you can get to the coast at Saltburn, or Staithes and Whitby.
Helmsley is a nice market town with a castle and an abbey. The North York Moors National Park site has good information for planning walks.
Facilities: everything on the list is there. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot. Parking is on the driveway. Sorry, no pets.
