York Apartment
This place is an apartment in Commondale, in the North York Moors. It's called York Apartment but it's in North Yorkshire, not the city. It's a ground floor flat in a converted old schoolhouse. There are three other apartments here.
It sleeps four, with two double bedrooms and one shower room. Everything's on one level. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean.
You can bring one dog. There's a small shared garden out the front with a bench. The parking is where the school playground used to be. The owners live next door.
The village pub is just a few steps away. They do good food. Commondale train station is about a fifteen minute walk. The trains to Whitby stop there, but the service isn't frequent. It's a useful way to get to Whitby or to Grosmont for the steam railway without driving.
It's walking country. You're in the North York Moors National Park, so the paths start from the door. The coast is under half an hour's drive. Staithes, Whitby, Runswick Bay, they're all right there.
Inside, there's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The kitchen has what you need. The living area has an electric fire.
