The Cottage
The Cottage is in Lingdale, North Yorkshire. It's a converted barn. I did the work myself a few years ago.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms upstairs, one twin and one single. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You get a private patio area with a barbecue. The view from there is good, just fields and sky. There's an enclosed field on site if you've got kids or dogs. The property allows two pets.
Inside is open plan. Kitchen, living area, all in one space. It's got a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
The location is the main thing. You're about four miles from Saltburn, which is a Victorian seaside town. Staithes harbour is about nine miles away. The coast is easy to get to. Whitby, Runswick Bay, and Sandsend are all within a half hour drive.
The North York Moors National Park starts a few miles away. If you like walking or cycling, it's right there. You can walk from the cottage into the fields.
There's a second barn conversion next door. They can be connected by an internal door if you're booking both for a bigger group. Otherwise, it's completely separate.
