Farndale Apartment
Farndale Apartment is in Commondale, up on the North York Moors. It's a first-floor flat in a converted Victorian schoolhouse. You get the views but you do have stairs to get up to it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one twin. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine.
There's a small shared garden out the front with a bench. The parking is in the old playground. The owners live next door.
The village pub is just down the road. It's a proper local. The Esk Valley railway line runs through here too. The station is a 15-minute walk away. Trains aren't frequent, but it's a nice way to get to Whitby without driving.
You're right in the middle of the moors for walking. The coast is about half an hour's drive. You've got Whitby, Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes. All the good ones.
You can bring one dog. A lot of the pubs and cafes round here are fine with them.
