North Range is one of the old barns on Low Westmoors Farm in Castleton. It's a working farm, but organic, so it's a bit quieter. The barns are from the 1800s and the whole place is Grade II listed. You're detached, so no shared walls.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. Everything's included, like bedding and towels. There's underfloor heating, and a wood burner too if you want it.
The view from the front is over Danby Dale. It's very green. You can walk or cycle straight out from the farm onto the bridle paths. They go through the dales and to other villages.
For a pint, the pub is about a mile away in Castleton village. The shop's there too.
You're right in the North York Moors National Park. For a day out, Whitby is about a 30 minute drive. The steam railway runs from there to Pickering, goes through Goathland which you might know from Heartbeat. Inland, towns like Helmsley or Pickering are good for a wander. The coast has places like Staithes and Runswick Bay, which are proper old fishing villages.
In the barn you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. There's a patio with a barbecue, and parking right outside. There's bike storage if you bring them. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. There's a shared play area for kids on the farm. No pets, sorry.
