The Stable
The Stable is here on our farm in Houlsyke. It's about three miles from Lealholm. It used to be the stables, we converted it a while back. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well finished.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. They both look out over the fields. One bathroom up there as well. The living room and kitchen are downstairs.
You've got a patio and an enclosed garden that's just for you. There's a barbecue out there. Inside, there's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. The usual things are there: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. We include the bedding and towels. There's a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and maybe some tractors about. It's quiet. The track up to it is a farm track, so it's a bit bumpy but fine for normal cars.
Lealholm has a village shop and a couple of pubs. For the coast, Whitby is about a twenty minute drive. That's where the abbey is and the usual fish and chips. The North York Moors National Park is all around here for walking. You can drive up to places like Goathland or Rosedale quite easily.

No pets, sorry. The farm dogs live here and it gets complicated.
