Denham is in Glaisdale. It's an old stone house, detached, so you won't have any neighbours through the wall. It's about two hundred and fifty years old.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms which helps with that many people. It has a four star rating.
The kitchen is a proper farmhouse kitchen, big and with a lot of beams. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. The garden is enclosed. There's a patio with table and chairs that looks over it.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors. The village shop is a couple of minutes walk. There's a local pub about the same distance away, and a butcher's.
Whitby is about eight miles. That's where you go for the beach, the abbey, and the harbour. The steam railway station at Grosmont is very close. You can get on there.
Robin Hood's Bay and Runswick Bay are both within half an hour's drive. For walks, you've got the Esk Valley and the moorland right from the door. The river runs through the village.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
