The Granary is a converted barn in Lingdale. It's one of two cottages here, mine and the neighbour's. They can be opened up into one place if you've got a bigger group.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The conversion was done properly, so it's comfortable but you still get the feel of the old building. The stairs are a bit steeper than a normal house, just so you know.
Outside, there's a patio with a table. It looks out over the fields. The garden is enclosed. There's a big field on site that's handy if you've got kids or dogs. You can walk dogs on the paths around the fields here.
Location wise, you're about four miles from Saltburn-by-the-Sea. It's a proper Victorian seaside town with a pier. Staithes is about nine miles, that's a nice fishing village. Whitby is roughly a twenty minute drive. The coast road from there to Scarborough is good.
You're right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. It's about a five minute drive to get up into the moor proper. Good for walks and cycling.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and a highchair. There's an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs.
