Bridge House is in Loftus. It's right by the river, so the garden has water on two sides. You can hear it from the decking. The garden is enclosed and there's a hot tub under a covered shelter. You can use that in any weather.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One shower is downstairs, which is handy if you've been in the hot tub or come in muddy. The stairs to the top floor are under the eaves, so you'll need to mind your head a bit up there. The rating is 4 Star, so it's been well looked after.
There's a shop and a pub a few minutes walk away. The beach at Skinningrove is about two miles. It's quiet and good for fossils.
If you want to explore, you're close to a lot. Staithes and Runswick Bay are along the coast, and Whitby is about a twenty minute drive. For walking, you're on the edge of the North York Moors. The Cleveland Way is right there, and Roseberry Topping is a good climb with a proper view. Dalby Forest is about half an hour away for mountain biking or walking.
In the house you've got a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and parking. There's an electric vehicle charger. We include the bedding and towels. No pets, sorry.
