Bridge House is in Loftus. It's right next to a river, which runs around the edge of the garden. The garden is enclosed and there's a deck with a table on it. The hot tub is under a shelter, so you can use it in the rain.
The house sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. They've done it up nicely inside. Wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is new and has what you need. There's a shower on the ground floor, which is handy if you've been in the hot tub.
Two bedrooms are on the first floor: a kingsize and a twin. The bathroom there has a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The third bedroom is on the second floor under the eaves. It's a kingsize with a skylight.
The stairs are fine, but the ones to the top floor are a bit steeper, as you'd expect.
There's a shop and a pub about five minutes walk away. The coast is roughly two miles. Skinningrove beach is close and it's good for fossils. Runswick Bay, Staithes, Saltburn, and Whitby are all a short drive along the coast.
For walking, you're on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The Cleveland Way is nearby. Roseberry Topping is about a 30 minute drive and the views from the top are worth it. For a day out, North York Moors National Park has good information. National Trust Yorkshire covers places like Whitby Abbey.
Facilities: parking for two cars, electric vehicle charger, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, cot and highchair available. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
