This is Beck View Cottage in Staithes. It’s the end terrace one. You can see the beck from the side window, which is where the name comes from.
It’s a one-bedroom cottage, sleeps two. One bathroom, which is en-suite. It’s got a four-star rating. It’s small but it’s clean and well looked after.
The stairs are steep. They’re also narrow and a bit twisty. Just take your time on them.
You’re very close to the harbour. The beach is about a hundred yards away. There are three pubs within a few minutes’ walk, and some nice cafés. There's a good deli and a butchers too.
The place has an open plan living area downstairs with a woodburning stove. There's Wi-Fi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
For walks, you can pick up the Cleveland Way coastal path easily. Whitby is about nine miles south, Saltburn is a similar distance north. Both are easy drives.
