The Coble is the one on the end. It's one of four old army huts we've done up, while the rest on site are still pretty much as they were. It's made from brick and timber, so it's got a solid, simple feel.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a bed in it, and a shower room right next door. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfy and clean. The floorplan is open, which just means the living space is all together.
You're about a two minute walk from the edge of Staithes village itself. You go down a little cobbled lane and you're right in the middle of it. There are a couple of pubs, a few cafes, and a small shop. The harbour is there too.
The property is right on the Cleveland Way. So you can walk out the gate and straight onto the coastal path, either along the cliffs or inland across the moor. You see a lot of people with boots and backpacks.
For a bigger day out, Whitby is about 11 miles down the coast. The abbey is the main thing, obviously. The North York Moors Railway runs from there too, which is the steam train line. It goes through Goathland, which was used in Heartbeat.
Facilities-wise: there's parking right outside your door. The garden area is yours. WiFi works. We include the bedding. You can bring one dog. There's a cot and a highchair in the cupboard if needed.
