Seacot is in Runswick Bay, at the top of the village. It's detached, with its own garden and parking space. You look out over the cliff tops to the sea.
The place sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped.
The village is a steep walk down to a sandy beach. The path is fine, but it's a proper hill. Coming back up is a bit of a climb.
Whitby is about nine miles away. It's got the abbey, the Captain Cook connections, and plenty of fish and chips. The North York Moors National Park is on the doorstep for walking. You can get the steam railway from Pickering or Grosmont.
Scarborough is along the coast. Further south you've got Filey and Bridlington, all within about a 30 minute drive.
At the cottage you've got a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
