Buccaneer
This is Buccaneer. It's a top floor apartment in a Georgian townhouse in Whitby. You get your own parking spot right outside, which is a big help here.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, both doubles. One has an en-suite shower. There's also a main bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
The main room is open plan. Living area, dining table, kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. The windows look out over the rooftops towards the upper harbour.
You won't need the car much. The shop, pubs, and the harbour are a few minutes' walk. The beach is about a ten minute stroll.
Whitby's got the lot. The abbey ruins up on the cliff, fish and chips, boat trips. You can walk the Cleveland Way coastal path straight from the door. The North York Moors National Park starts just outside town.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes, and Sandsend along the coast. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway steam trains go from Whitby to Pickering, stopping at Goathland.
